What is the amount of taxes that I will have to pay if I do not respect the permitted exemptions?
US Border services officers may require the payment of taxes on purchases that exceed the allowable exemptions. For example, here is the average tax you could pay:
- 2 $ - 3 $ US per bottle of liquor (1 L)
- 1,90 $ US per case of beer (24 bottles)
- 10,07 $ US per carton of cigarettes
- US duty rates on purchases exceeding 1 liter of alcohol are assessed according to alcohol content
- Products other than alcohol and tobacco may also require a duty payment

How do I retrieve my order made online?
A: Before crossing the border, stop at our store with your invoice number. We will present you with your purchases.
Can a non-resident go to a Canadian Duty Free Shop to receive a refund on some of the (GST/HST) they have paid during their visit in Canada?
A: No, this refund program was discontinued in 2007.
Can I bring back purchases made at the Canadian Duty Free Shop when I return to Canada?
